If our President was concerned for his "No Child Left Behind" Program, he would insist that your timely book be made an integral part of the curriculum.

I wish I had this book when I graduated from school in the 60's.  The information would have been priceless.

This is a “how to” book a dean or graduate will learn from!

Mary Brabeck, Dean of the Steinhardt School of Education at NYU

I found its message to be both practical and inspiring, and thus very useful for graduates of all levels. With so many of our teenagers and young adultes confused by the mixed-messages society and the media sends them, this is precisely the type of idea we need to spread: that we are in control of our life outcomes, and that our actions have consequences for ourselves and those around us.

Joel I. Klein, Chancellor, New York City Department of Education

from a reader:

……… the book is a relatively easy read and quite instructive for young people who have little clue about the world they have just begun to really acquaint themselves with, and it provides plenty of options so that they do have choices much like in life as we have experienced it.

Of particular import, and you make that point well again at the end, is the chapter on selling or salesmanship. As you so aptly stated, that happens every day throughout our lives whether we recognize it or not.
The successful salesman is the successful person generally speaking or more properly, vice versa.

The advice I gave my daughters while in high school was they should take some business courses because no matter what profession they choose, as you stated in your forever learning, it will be needed throughout your life.

Your interspersing of related stories does well to keep the attention of your reader and also passes valuable life experiences on to them  if they are wise enough to “get it.”

The Day After Graduation gives every reader some very good basic points to ponder no matter what stage he is when he/she reads it. Life
is a lot more complicated than it is perceived by school teachers at any level and students alike. The only way to experience it is to live it and your book is a good guideline for those not specializing in the important
fields the book covers
